オオシマゴマガイは、殻の高さが3mm程度の小さなカタツムリです。殻が赤みを帯び、先端がやや細くなっています。徳之島と沖縄諸島に分布するようです。森林の林床に生息し、落ち葉や朽ち木の下などに潜んでいます。

Diplommatina oshimae is distributed in the Tokunoshima Island and Okinawa Islands. Length of the shell is about 3mm. The main habitat of this snail is forest of the mountain.
