カクレイワガニは、高知以南に分布しています。国外では東南アジア、インド洋、オーストラリアなどに分布するようです。甲幅が４cm程度の大きさです。海岸線付近に生息しています。やんばるの海岸付近では、普通に生息しています。日中は岩の間隙などに潜んでおり、主に夜間活動します。
Geograpsus grayi is distributed south of Kochi. Overseas, it is distributed in Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean, Australia, etc. The width of the shell is about 4 cm. It's inhabit in the near the coast.
