ヒメユリサワガニは、沖縄本島にのみ分布します。甲幅３cm程度になります。脚が細長いのが特徴です。石灰岩地に生息していますが、局所的です。陸上生活に適応しており、水からはなれた場所で見られます。稚ガニは直接陸上に放します。
