オオバン

オオバンは、沖縄県内には冬鳥として渡来します。河川やため池など水辺に生息しています。全長39cm、体は同じように河川や池などでよく見かけるバン（Gallinula chloropus ）より大型です。全体が黒っぽくなっていますが、額板やくちばしが白く目立ちます。
The total length of the Common Coot is about 39cm. It will come across as a winter bird to Okinawa. They inhabit the waterside such as pond.
