オニアジサシは全長47cm、冬鳥として渡来し河口や港で見かけます。本土では普通に見かけるポピュラーな鳥ですが、沖縄ではあまり多くはありません。名護市の羽地内海など海岸付近で見かけます。写真は若鳥です。若鳥は全身褐色をしています。
