マガンは全長72cm、大型の鳥類です。国内には冬鳥として渡来します。沖縄では希な冬鳥や迷蝶として少数が飛来します。水田や荒れ地などに生息します。
The Greater White-fronted Geese are large birds, measuring 72cm in length. They migrate to Japan as winter birds. In Okinawa, they migrate in small numbers as rare winter birds or lost butterflies. They live in rice paddies and wastelands.
