ダイサギは沖縄へは冬鳥として渡来します。全長90cm。河川、水田、湿地、海岸などに生息します。海岸などをゆっくり歩きながら魚を狙う姿を見かけます。他のシラサギ類より体が大きく、首がやや長く見えます。
The total length of the Great Egret is about 90cm. It will come across as a winter bird to Okinawa. They inhabit the cultivated land and the waterside.
